Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s season may be over, but his career isn’t.
Retirement “is not something I think about,” the celebrated NASCAR driver said Sunday (via ESPN) at Darlington Raceway, where veteran Jeff Gordon drove his No. 88 car to a 14th-place finish.
“I’m only 41,” Earnhardt continued (via the Associated Press). “I’ve got some good years left. I think I’m as good as I’ve been inside the car. I feel like I’m still an asset to the team and to the company.”
